Terms of Service

Using EasyGIS

By creating an account you agree to these terms. EasyGIS lets you build and export maps by describing what you need in plain English. You’re responsible for the activity on your account, so keep your password to yourself and let us know right away if you think someone else has access.

Your account

You need a valid email address and accurate sign-up details to use EasyGIS. You must be old enough to enter a contract in your country. One person or organisation per account — don’t share credentials across teams.

Acceptable use

Use EasyGIS for lawful work. Don’t upload data you have no right to use, attempt to break or overload the service, or use it to build maps that target individuals or break privacy law. We may suspend accounts that put the service or other users at risk.

Your maps and data

The data you upload and the maps you build remain yours. You grant EasyGIS only the limited permission needed to run the service — storing, processing and rendering your data so we can return the map you asked for. We don’t claim ownership and we don’t sell your data.

Service availability

We work to keep EasyGIS available and accurate, but the service is provided “as is”. Generated maps are a starting point — check results before relying on them for safety-critical or legal decisions. We’re not liable for outcomes based on maps you haven’t verified.

Changes and closing your account

You can close your account at any time. We may update these terms as the product evolves; if a change is significant we’ll tell you before it takes effect. Continuing to use EasyGIS after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Privacy Policy

What we collect

We collect what we need to run EasyGIS and nothing we don’t:

  • Account details — your name, work email, and optionally your organisation, department and phone number.
  • Map data — the datasets you upload and the prompts you write to build maps.
  • Usage data — basic logs about how the service is used, so we can keep it fast and reliable.

How we use it

We use your information to run the service, build the maps you ask for, keep your account secure, and improve how EasyGIS works. We don’t sell your personal data or your map data, and we don’t use your private datasets to train models without your explicit permission.

How your map data is handled

Your datasets are processed by our mapping engine to produce the maps you request. They’re stored so you can return to your work, and they stay private to your account unless you choose to share or export them.

Sharing

We share data only with the service providers that help us run EasyGIS (such as hosting and infrastructure), and only as much as they need to do their job. We may disclose information where the law requires it. Otherwise, your data stays with us.

Security and retention

We protect your data with encryption in transit and at rest, and we limit who can access it. We keep your information for as long as your account is active, and remove it within a reasonable period after you close your account, unless we’re required to keep it longer.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your personal data at any time from your account settings, or by contacting us. We’ll respond within the timeframe your local privacy law requires.
